Emergency Response

Clogged or Overflowing Toilet?

Don't panic. We have the tools to clear any blockage, fast.

Call (252) 503-1295

Stop the Overflow!

Turn the valve behind the toilet CLOCKWISE to shut off the water immediately.

More Than Just a Plunger

If a plunger didn't fix it, the blockage is likely deeper in the line. Store-bought chemicals can damage your pipes and rarely work on tough clogs.

We use professional-grade augers and hydro-jetting equipment to clear:

  • Toy & Object Removal
  • Tree Root Intrusion
  • Septic Backups

Upfront Pricing

We'll give you a flat rate to clear the clog before we start. No hourly guessing games.

Why Won't It Clear?

You tried a plunger. It failed. Why? Because the clog is not in the toilet bowl. The blockage is likely 10 to 40 feet deep inside your main drain line. The toilet is simply the lowest point where the water backs up first. Common causes include:

  • Tree roots. Roots break into clay or cast iron sewer lines. This happens often in older Newport and Beaufort homes.
  • Grease and wipes. These items bind together. They form a solid block in the main line.
  • Broken pipes. Older drain pipes can collapse or form "bellies" that trap waste.
  • Septic failures. A full tank forces sewage backward. It usually comes up in the toilet first.
  • Lodged objects. Toys or foreign items stick in the toilet trap. We clear these with a metal closet auger.

Why Chemical Drain Cleaners Make It Worse

Chemical drain cleaners use harsh acids or lye. They melt soft hair clogs in bathroom sinks. They fail completely on a solid toilet blockage.

These chemicals are dangerous. If they sit in a blocked pipe, they eat through the pipe walls. They destroy PVC glue joints and rust cast iron. This turns a simple clog into a major pipe replacement.

We fix the problem safely. We use a closet auger for the toilet bowl. We use a power snake for the first 25 feet of drain line. We blast tree roots and grease with a high-pressure hydro-jetter. If we suspect a broken pipe, we inspect it with a fiber-optic camera.

What Happens When You Call

Our trucks carry the right tools for any drain emergency. We bring a 50-foot power snake. We bring a heavy-duty toilet auger. We bring a portable hydro-jet. We also bring a sewer camera. Our diagnostic process is fast. We locate the blockage. We determine its size. Then, we give you a firm price.

We clear most standard toilet clogs in under an hour. Do we suspect tree roots or a broken line? If so, we run the sewer camera. We show you the screen. You see exactly what is blocking your pipe. We do not guess. We show you the evidence, and we fix the problem.

Is your toilet overflowing right now? Turn the silver valve behind the toilet. Turn it to the right (clockwise). This stops the water. Clean up any water on the floor to prevent rot. Then, call us at (252) 503-1295. We offer true 24/7 dispatch across Carteret and Onslow counties.

Why I Guarantee Our Work Across Carteret County

Plumbing on the Crystal Coast requires specialized knowledge. We fight salt air corrosion on exterior pipes, hard well water scaling on the mainland, and high municipal water pressure on the island. As an NC Master Plumber based right here in Newport, I know exactly what fails in these coastal homes and how to prevent it. When you call our team, you get transparent, upfront pricing, zero hidden fees, and my personal guarantee that the job will be done right the first time. We treat your home exactly the way we treat our own.

"Clint was recommended to us by our builder. We wanted to remove our old shower and upgrade. Clint answered his phone and responded swiftly. This is BIG in business....he actually answers the phone and returns calls! And TEXTS, too! Clint to the rescue! He did a fine job upgrading our shower! He helped in the planning, responded quickly with an estimate, was on time to do the several-days-job, and cleaned up after each day's work. Additionally, we had a problem with our kitchen sink faucet on a Sunday at 6:30 pm. I called Clint and he facetimed me to help me resolve it. However, and unbelievably, I could not get the faucet to turn off the water, the water source line handles (valves) under the sink would not turn, AND the handle that allows water into the house would not operate properly. He was at our house in 30 minutes, shut off the water at the meter, replaced the handle on the water shut off to the house, and replaced the shut off valves under the sink! He sat with us and discussed out choice of new faucets, and he returned the next day with an updated faucet. Great job, Clint."

"We recently hired Clint and his team to power wash our house, carport, and driveway, and to run plumbing up to our two decks. Everything was in really rough shape before they came, and the difference is like night and day. They were fast, efficient, and professional from start to finish. The concrete and exterior look almost brand new, and the new water lines to the decks are exactly what we needed. We're very happy with their work and will definitely be using Clint and his crew again!"
